One, Two, Three--He's out!
It may not be a regulation wrestling take-down. but it would appear that Teddy won this battle royale. Or is it royal? I suppose it the category of cuteness, it doesn't matter!
Aiden has taken to sleeping in this manner lately-I don't know if the room is too bright or he just likes his head covered. He likes to have one of Teddy's legs and arms around him. And yes, those are football socks-he's all boy!!!!

11 Months
Time has flown by!! At almost 1, Ajax continues to get cuter! It's difficult to grasp that this time last year, we hadn't really met face to face. What a way to be introduced!
As I ponder his birthday possibilities, I wonder...since I did the work for his birthday, do I get a present? Others may say children are the ultimate gift , but somehow I suspect I'm getting the short end of the stick! (In regards to gifts, of course.)
So here's a short list of things that Mom would be happy to accept for her hard work and accumulated love chub-3 months worth of Pilates classes, a personal trainer, liposuction, breast lift, and/or tummy tuck. Does anyone else see a theme developing?
In case Aiden Jackson reads this 20 years from now-just know Mom would never trade her "love chub" for anything!
Back to moving more and eating less-sigh!

Welcome to the rest of the world
It seems that while everyone else has already figured out blogs, facebook, picasa and everything else under the sun-I have been busy chasing the baby. But in my humble attempts to catch up and not be outdone (Mom (Debra) had facebook before me) I now have the family blog and facebook. And 2 email accounts. And a cell phone, regular phone and a handheld Hamm Radio. I really should figure out how to merge these things into one place!
Anyhow, here's some of the latest pictures of the boy wonder! He has discovered that the Pampers "Cruisers" box helps him cruise around the very small kitchen, and how has figured out how those doors open. Guess it's time to go purchase some latches!

Aiden Jackson's Brown-Eyed Girl
Surrounded by the blue eyes of these boys-I wonder if I should get colored contacts? He may not have my eyes, but he has my eyebrows! Yup, I've looked that closely-he's already been to the salon with me to get my eyebrows waxed. Oh the pain he won't have to endure for "maintenance".
If he isn't already, one day he will be very glad he's a boy. It's far less work. However, I will encourage him to be "metro-sexual" when it comes to his appearance as he gets older. Good grooming is always a hit with the girls...

After a day out all over the city, the baby is content to play with a VO5 bottle which has some water and mint leaves! See the latest slideshow to see the little fella crawl! His knees, elbows, and tummy are pretty red! Hopefully soon he'll figure out it's easier if you don't drag your stomach along!

The boy child is sneaky...
Of course he was flipping back and forth before I tried to capture on film...at least what was caught was cute! Enjoy!

This morning we headed to the Bayou City Farmers Market, where we met a lovely baby goat. Oddly enough, Aiden and the goat both wore diapers and smelled alike! Aiden wasn't quite sure what to think of this little guy. The baby goat tried to nibble Aiden fingers. Again, another odd similarity-everything heads for the mouth!
This week was my first at home-we stayed busy...Aiden had apples for the first time, rolled over and slept through the night Friday night. (Hallelujah) We woke up this morning about 5:30am, terrified we'd slept through his cries or let him suffer alone. I panicked when I couldn't tell on the monitor if he was breathing. Patrick alleviated my fears by nudging him, just to be certain he was still breathing. :) Tee hee!

Hair loss
Look at how much hair this boy had versus now!
Mom had the same experience, but it all came back a golden blonde. Yes, there are blonde roots in there somewhere, not that you would know now. I have no idea what my natural hair color is, and have no intentions to find out.
(Needless to say, Mom's roots aren't blonde anymore-I really should get to the hairdresser! )

In High Demand
We (read I) have joined the great blogging world!
For the last two days I have been trying to decide what to say on my first post...as this is the second day as stay at home mom, I wanted to sound profound, wise and self-sacrifical. Instead, I've been cleaning up "profound" amounts of spit up, become "wise" to the fact I can't fix the toliet, and, well, the only thing I really "sacrifice" these days is sleep.
But when you look at these three fellas, it's hard to imagine anything else!
